Son of the great singer Winston McAnuff, Matthew McAnuff – 22 years old – is close to Makasound since many years.

Since many years, there is a wish to produce his first album. But the occasion came with the recording of the 10th volume of the collections Inna de Yard in 2008. Matthew came to Chinna’s yard while the latest volume was being recorded. He had his song “Be careful”, sang it to Chinna, who did find a great arrangement for it. After the release, the song became a hit in France, and now internationally.
In 2009, Matthew did participate to the 5 Inna de Yard shows in France, and in the meantime, he opened a few shows for his father. The audience’s reactions were strong. Since a few months,
Matthew and his father started to produce his first album, with the collaboration of the legendary rhythm section from the Roots Radics, Errol “Flabba” Holt (bass) and Style Scott (drums).
The album will be out in spring 2010 and Matthew is ready for the world.
